Day 1: Drive from Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
Today, you will leave your hotel in Kampala for Murchison Falls National Park after your cup of tea or coffee briefing from your tour leader. Day 1 of your 10 days best of Uganda tour takes you to Murchison Falls National Park the only wildlife safari park in Northwestern Uganda. The road trip to this safari park is approximately 4-5 hours’ drive. However, you will make a stopover at the Ziwa rhino sanctuary to track rhinos and later, have lunch in a hotel in Masindi.

Day 2: Game drive & launch cruise in Murchison Falls National Park
Start your Uganda tour with an early morning breakfast then meet your tour guide well-prepared to go for a game drive through northern part of Murchison Falls National Park. Expect to spend about 2 to 3 hours but you stand a chance to view breathtaking landscape, wildlife species such as the Rothschild giraffes, warthogs, African bush elephants, hartebeests, lions, leopards, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, Oribis, bird species and many more. Drive back to your safari lodge to have lunch and some rest.

Day 3: Leave Murchison for to Kibale Forest National Park
Leave Murchison Falls after breakfast and check out from the lodge. Drive to Kibale Forest National Park, a home to 13 primate species and on arrival at Fort Portal, you will be served lunch (in case you didn’t have). Arrive early and visit Bigodi Wetland for a guided natured walk. The primates to sight on a nature walk here include olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, red colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys. Other mammals to expect to spot include bush pigs, sitatunga plus distinct birds.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking & drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

At 7:00am, you are expected to be at Kanyanchu Visitor Center for you to be briefed on chimpanzee tracking safety measures. Day 5: Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today, your Uganda tour will mean you rising up early to have a cup of tea or coffee. Day 8: Gorilla trekking and community visit

At 8:00am, a trek to view mountain gorillas starts which lasts from 2 to 6 hours although this may depend on your hiking speed, nature of habitat and where gorillas are found.
