Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park
Meet our company driver/guide at Kigali International Airport holding a placard indicating your beautiful name or be picked from your place of residence, have a short briefing on what to expect during the tour and start your 2 hours’ journey to Akagera National Park while relishing the breathtaking views of the rolling hills of Rwanda. Upon your arrival at the Park, have a short drive through the Park then check-in at the Lodge for lunch and freshen-up.
Enjoy lunch then head for a boat cruise along the spectacular Lake Ihema where you have chances of spotting more attractions especially aquatic wildlife species like Hippos, Nile crocodiles as well as aquatic bird species along the shores of the Lake or in the nearby wetland. Head back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full day game drive.
Arise early for breakfast and leave immediately for the morning game drive where you will be looking for the big animals such as giraffes, buffaloes, elephants as well as Topis, impalas, Roan antelopes, leopards, bushbucks, elands, common duikers, gazelles, Burchell’s zebras, Oribis, reedbucks, Defassa waterbucks, warthogs and the recently introduced Rhinos and lions. Akagera National Park is beautifully endowed with varying habitats that offer shelter to different wildlife and bird species.
This game drive will last up to 6 hours and by the time you finish the activity, you will have seen almost three-quarters of the Park’s attractions.

Day 3: Transfer to Kigali and City tour
Have breakfast at about 6:30 am and proceed for another game drive (starting at 7:00 am) to increase your chances of sighting the previously missed wildlife species of Akagera National Park and later return to Kigali. Have a tour of the City known for its lush hills and expect to reach Mount Kigali where you will have a clear view of the entire City, Kigali Museum to learn about the history of the country, the genocide memorial site-a reminder of the 1994 genocide horror and Kimoronko local market as well as Caplaki craft market among others. Lunch will be at the Mille Collines Hotel.
